E Commerce By Ravi Kalakota.pdf

Category:E-commerce in India Category:History of e-commerceTag Archives: Freddie Brekenridge Can books write themselves? For me, the answer has always been “Yes.” My journey as a novelist began with the writing of books. I would pen my first story and then transcribe that story into a paper copy for submission to a publisher. If it got accepted, I would send it to a printer. If I was lucky, I would receive a copy of my printed book. Eventually, that became too expensive, so I began to edit my books for submission, to hire a copy-editor, and then to send them to a printer. Later, I began to submit my manuscripts to agents. And while I still make corrections for each book I send out, it has taken on the form of an outline, and my wife and I will review the book, making any changes to the manuscript, before submitting it to the publisher. When the book is completed, we will send it out to one or two reviewers and then finally to the general public. In short, I have “edited” my books myself, which has lead to my becoming a professional writer. While I may now edit my books for publication, I know the reality. I am “self-published.” There will be times when I am published under a name other than “M. J. Hunter.” In the near future, I plan on publishing books under my own name. However, I am working on several co-authored titles, which I am co-writing with someone else. To be successful in the writing world, you need a great story. While you will never have a guarantee that your book will be a bestseller, you need to do everything in your power to make sure that your book is the best that it can be. You will spend a lot of time, so make sure it’s a good time. I have spent countless hours reading books. I have also spent countless hours writing books. For myself, the time spent writing has always led to a better book. The question I’m often asked is, “If you could write a book for free, would you?” No, I wouldn’t. Do I have the time to do so? Yes. Is it possible? Yes, but it would be time well spent.
